Nominations Now Open for the 2023 AAEES Awards

The American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists recognizes excellence in environmental engineering and science over a full spectrum of achievements. Individual awards are made to those in academia (including educators and students), private and public practice, and research. The awards consider technical expertise, professional conduct, and ethics in addition to personal accomplishment. Many of the awards have been established in honor of environmental engineers and scientists who have distinguished themselves through exemplary achievements throughout their careers and recognized for their expertise by their peers.

Do you know someone who deserves recognition for their professional achievements?

The Academy established the AAEES Awards to recognize individuals for their contributions to environmental engineering, environmental science, public health and environmental protection. The individual awards include:

• Edward J. Cleary Award for outstanding management of environmental protection enterprises
• Gordon Maskew Fair Award for substantial contributions to the environmental engineering and science profession
• Stanley E. Kappe Award for outstanding service to the Academy and advancement of public awareness
• Science Award for outstanding performance in conducting environmental science programs and projects
• Honorary Member for professional eminence and achievements
• International Honorary Member for professional eminence and achievements
• 40 Under 40 Recognition Program for recognition of talented individuals who have, either personally or as part of a team.

These awards will be presented at the 2023 AAEES Awards Luncheon and Conference.
